Impact of Digital Printing on our Perception
Good to see you here again. Hope the new year is well and good. As I say always, “New year brings lots of Opportunities”. Today we are here to picturize the impact of Digital media on our perception. Usually I tend to slam on Digital Media and often portray it as “Mental Media” for the prime reason;
It (The Digital Media)blunts our Brain
It is no wonder that we are being tamed by the Digital Media and are channelized by the same.
The million Dollar Advertisements decide what we should eat which is indeed a delusion.
Not into depth on this topic. Let’s us glance a while about the “Digital Printing” and its pertinence towards how we think.
The ‘Art’ which is indeed an Art.
Interestingly each of us have an ‘Artist’ within. From the day we began to scribble in a piece of paper to the day we shade some sort of pictures during boredom, we have evolved as an Artist.
Factually, all of us admire ‘Art’. There are ‘awe’ moments whence we are wondered by the ‘magic of hands’ of great artists. Mind-blowing; it is to think of an Artist who had pictured his thought. Most of the art which had given us an ‘awe’ feel are an expression of ideas of great artists.
It is a general perception and true by 100% that any ‘Art is an Idea’ generated by the mind of the artist. Interestingly he tries to portray it, may be humorously or in anger.
An Art always portray the thoughts of the artist.
Even an alphabet, when drawn by him, tells how much information he had packed in it.
Anything out of the nib of an artist is indeed an Art.
Digital Art — A Threat to Creativity
I suppose, the evolution of Digital Art is taking the creativity in a wrong direction. The digital era has bestowed us with tons of templates. In other words, it has constrained our thought process. An artist can seldom decide the finish of the Art.
I strongly feel, Creativity is devolved by using Digital Art.
Where is the inner sense of ‘Awaaa’ ?
Whence we witness an elite Art, a sense of Awaaa gets in our mind. We tend to appreciate the artist irrespective of the Nationality or whatsoever. We express a sense of Gratitude for the master piece. However, with digital arts, we tend to neglect the creativity because, we are sure it is a template ‘maked up’.
Hence an Art from Mind is appreciated while the Digital Art is not.
The Change in Perception
The digital art when envisaged seldom gives a soothing effect and the art is ignored. The media had already diluted ‘Real Art’ with ‘Digital Arts’. It however, takes a minute to classify if the art is Real or Digital. If real we tend to appreciate and when digital we just leave away.
This has changed our perception in observing things.
In a long run, When observed we tend to ignore the art

We are evolving in an era where technological gadgets and templates govern the art. This major threat must be realised and responded by artists and forward thinkers. Students should be encouraged with arts rather than employing technology that would draw.
ART is a pART of us and only when enjoyed our mind sharpens.
